Modifying the footer

The Footer Page displays four columns of links. The first three consist of a heading and a set of links, and the fourth one consist of a set of social media links displayed as icons. The Footer Page is located in the Home/System_/include Structure Group. You can edit groups of links the Footer displays.

Procedure

  1. Access the Content Manager Explorer Web site.
  2. Expand the 400 Example Site Publication.
  3. Navigate to the Home/_System/include Structure Group.
  4. Open the Footer Page and go the Component Presentations tab:
    • To rearrange the four columns in the footer, move the Component Presentations up or down in the list.
    • To change the heading or set of links of any Component in the list, double-click the item to edit the Component.
  5. In the dialog that opens, you can change the heading, add, remove or move links, and modify links. You can modify links as follows:
    • In the normal link group Components, each link can point to an internal or external resource.
    • In the social link group Component, each link is associated with a social network (select its value in the Social Network field) and can only point to an external resource.
  6. Republish the Footer Page when you make changes.
