User Groups, Rights and Permissions
SDL Digital Experience Accelerator has predefined User Groups Developer, Editor, and Site Manager for managing security (Rights and permissions). It is recommended to add Users to these Groups.
Rights
The following rights are assigned to the Developer, Editor, and Site Manager User Groups:

Permissions 000 Empty Master Publication
On the 000 Empty Master Publication, the Default Templates Folder has permissions to the Developer User Group only (read, write, delete and localize).
Permissions 100 Master Publication
On the 100 Master Publication, permissions are set on Folder and Structure Group level. On most Folders, the Group Everyone has read permissions except the following:
- on the Modules Folder, the Groups Developer, Editor and Site Manager have full permissions (read, write, delete and localize)
- on the Admin Folders, only the Group Developer has full permissions, and the Group Everyone has read permissions
- on the Schemas and Templates Folders, the permissions are set according to the role. For example:
- in the \Modules\Core\Admin\Schemas Folder, only the Group Developer has full permissions and the other Groups have no rights,
- in the \Modules\Core\Site Manager\Schemas Folder, only the Group Developer and Site Manager have full permissions and the other Groups have no rights
