Adding Q-servers

You can add as many Q-servers as your translation volume demands. You add Q-servers to an ETS host.

Before you begin

You need to have an ETS administrator user account to access the following operations.

Procedure

  1. Launch the Web GUI.
  2. Log in using an ETS administrator account.
  3. Navigate to Manage > Hosts.
  4. In the upper right-hand corner, select Edit.
  5. Click on Add under the Q-Servers column and in the row of the Host you are adding a Q-server to.
  6. Enter an available port.
  7. Select Add.
If a valid port number is provided, then a new row is added to the Q-Servers column of that host with the port specified.
  8. Select Done Editing.

What to do next

The Q-server needs to be in running status for the ETS load balancer to use it as a translation queue server. See Starting Job Engines section for how to change the Q-server running status.
