Adding T-servers

Add as many T-servers as you need to support your source-target language combinations. Make sure that there is a correspondence between the installed Language Pairs and those supported by the T-servers.

Before you begin

You need to have an ETS administrator user account to access the following operations.

Procedure

  1. Launch the Web GUI.
  2. Log in using an ETS administrator account.
  3. Navigate to Manage > Hosts.
  4. In the upper right-hand corner, select Edit.
  5. Click on Add that is in the row of the host you are adding a T-server to and within the T-Servers column.
  6. Enter an available port.
  7. Select source and target languages under Language Pair.
  8. Select Add.
If a valid port number is provided, then a new row is added to the T-Servers column of that host with the port specified.
  9. Select Done Editing.

What to do next

The T-server needs to be in running status for the ETS Q-server(s) to use it as a translation server for that language pair. See Starting Translation Engines section for how to change the T-server running status.
