Removing Job Engines

Remove your Q-servers when no longer needed.

Before you begin

You need to have an ETS administrator user account to access the following operations.

About this task

Removing a Q-server will permanently delete all translation jobs that are queued and in-progress on that Q-server. The Translation Queue will not list any translation jobs that were processed by that Q-server.

Procedure

  1. Launch the Web GUI.
  2. Log in using an ETS administrator account.
  3. Navigate to Manage > Hosts.
  4. In the upper right-hand corner, select Edit.
  5. Under the Q-Servers column, identify the Q-server you want to remove, and select the adjacent trash can button.

Results

The server will be removed from the Q-Servers column and ETS load balancer will no longer distribute translation jobs to the removed Q-server.
