Adding Job Engines
You can add as many Job Engines as your translation volume demands. You add Job Engines to an ETS host.
Before you begin
You need to have an ETS administrator user account to access the following operations.
About this task
The Job Engine is a component in the ETS workflow that is responsible for language detection if the source language is set to auto-detect, for segmentation of the source input, and for the compilation of the translation into the desired output format.
Procedure
- Launch the Web GUI.
- Log in using an ETS administrator account.
- Navigate to .
- In the upper right-hand corner, select Edit.
- Under the Job Engines column, identify the Host you are adding a Job Engine to.
- Select Add under the Job Engines column (and Host row) you identified previously.
- Select Done Editing.
What to do next
The Job Engine needs to be in running status for the ETS load balancer to use it as a translation queue server. See Starting Job Engines section for how to change the Job Engine running status.
