Use the Content Manager InstallTool to install and merge all standard and customer specific project files.
Procedure
- Login to your Windows system as a Content Manager user with the Administrator user role.
- In Windows Explorer, go to C:\IShCD\yyyymmdd.CD.InfoShare<version_num>\ProjectName.IT\__InstallTool
- Locate and double-click on InstallTool.exe.
- Select the Install option by entering the number 2.
- Hit enter to respond to all questions; the default options should be sufficient.
All standard and customer specific project files are merged and installed. All required services are up and running (the Crawler, SolrLucene, IISAdmin, W3SVC).
