Launching TriDK XML Setup in interactive mode is recommended when you are learning how to use the tool and you want to check intermediate results.
Before you begin
You must have administrative permissions to run this program.
Procedure
- Double-click the TriDK XML Setup executable $\AppCore\Utilities\TridkXMLSetup\Tools\TridkSetup.exe
A command line window displays with Valid applications listed. These are names that can be used in the next step.
- At the prompt to Enter value for -App, specify the Content Manager application.
- Provide a valid username (-User).
The username is case-sensitive.
- Provide the user's password (-Pwd) to allow the TriDK XML Setup Tool to logon into the Content Manager application.
The password is case-sensitive.
- Specify the action that you want to perform (-Action).
- Enter the file name of an input script.
- Enter the file name of an output script.
This is the resulting script that is generated by the TriDK XML Setup tool.
Results
As a result, a connection is made and the specified action is executed.
- If executed successfully, the message Done is displayed.
- If not executed successfully, an error message is written to the console.
Important: Always open the resulting output file and check the return values.
