Restoring your default skin

Restore your default skin by executing the following command: loaddb SKINS-RESTORE. There is no need to execute this command if you are restoring your database to a different machine but with the same version of Content Delivery, and you have made default skin modifications there.

About this task

When the database is created at installation, default skins are generated as part of the installation. Then you restore the previous database, and that removes the default skins. They need to be re-generated.

Procedure

  1. At a command prompt, in the directory where Content Delivery is installed, type one of the following (without pressing Enter):
    • On a Windows machine, type loaddb.bat
    • On a Unix machine, type loaddb.sh
  2. After your switches (if any), add the term SKINS-RESTORE and press Enter.
The standard default skins are restored in the database.
