Translation Manager errors
View the log files if the translation job goes into the failed status or the service crashes.
If the translation job goes into the failed status you can:
- Check the log file in the web client for details about the job:
- Click Show Failed in the upper right pane.
- Select the translation job in the lower right pane.
- For a detailed view, click Verbose in the lower right pane.
- For a detailed view of an event (action) in the lower right pane, click the event. An Event Details window displays.
- Check the Event Log from the web client repository:
- Select the Repository tab then click Translation Jobs in the left pane.
- Select the job in the upper right pane then click Properties on the menu bar. A Translation Jobs Properties window displays.
- Click the Event Log tab.
- Check the server side log files:

If the service crashes you can:
Check the details in Windows event log, and in the server side log files (see above for location).
