Create user groups and assign when creating folders in the repository and when creating users. The user groups determine user access to the data in the folders.
Creating new user groups Create user groups to assign to users and folders in the repository. The group determines the permissions the user has to the data in a folder.
Changing user group properties You can change the name or description, or you can deactivate or reactivate a user group from the Content Manager web client application.
Deleting user groups You can delete a user group if it is not being used; that is, it is not assigned to any folders or users.
Searching user groups You can search for user groups and filter the list for part of a group name or any field in the list screen.
