Changing the account settings for Content Manager

If the Content Manager Service user account is changed follow this procedure to change the Content Manager services account.

Procedure

  1. Click Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
  2. Right-click on a Content Manager service and select Properties.
    The Content Manager services begin with Trisoft.
  3. Click the Log On tab.
  4. In the This account field, enter the username of the designated OS user.
    This is domain\username when it is a domain user, or computername\username when it is a local user.
  5. Enter the password of the designated OS user in the Password and the Confirm password fields.
  6. Click OK to save and close the property window.
  7. Restart the service to use the new account for the service.
  8. Repeat the steps for all Content Manager services.
