Checking Spelling

Content Editor lets you check spelling in a number of languages.

Procedure

  1. On the Home tab, click Check Spelling.

    Spelling is checked against the language specified in the metadata for the topic.

    A squiggly red line appears beneath misspelled words.

  2. Right-click any misspelled word, and then either choose from the available spelling suggestions or add the word to the dictionary.
  3. Repeat for each highlighted misspelled word.
  4. To close the spell checker, click Check Spelling again.

    Highlighting of misspelled words disappears from the topic display.
