As a reviewer, you check specific content in order to improve it. You can comment the content you are reviewing at any time. SDL Knowledge Center makes comments visible to all readers who have access to that specific content.
Before you begin
This task requires that you have Content Delivery installed.
Configure your browser to allow pop-ups, so you can see system messages.
When you are viewing content in Content Delivery, the Add Comment button in the toolbar at the top of the viewing pane has to be active:

If the button is greyed out, the content is not available for comments or you don't have the appropriate rights.
For all actions except comment creation, the comments must be visible. If they're not, use the Hide/Show toggle button on the right of the toolbar:

Note: These are the most usual commenting actions. The features and interface elements are extensively described in the end user part of the SDL Knowledge Center documentation.
Procedure
- Add a global comment for the page by clicking on the Add Comment button in the toolbar and filling in the edit box that opens.
- Add a comment to a portion of text by selecting the text, clicking on the Add Comment button that appears close to your pointer and filling in the edit box that opens.
- Add a comment to an image by clicking on the Add Comment button that appears when you leave your pointer on the image for a couple of seconds, and filling in the edit box that opens.
- Reply to a comment by typing your reply in the Reply to comment field under the comment you want to address, then click the Reply button.
Note: The successive replies are ordered from older (top) to newer (bottom).
Note: You can cancel by hitting ESC or by clicking outside the comment box.
- Delete a comment by clicking on the Delete button (
) on the top right corner of the comment box. In the dialog that opens, click Delete.
Note: When you delete a comment, the replies to that comment are also deleted.
Note: A comment delete cannot be undone.
