Configuring default settings
You can define system-wide default settings for language and image resolution.
User default settings can supersede system-wide defaults. To modify these settings, you need to log into the Content Manager web client as a user with administrator rights.
In the Content Manager web client, you can access the default setting configuration section in the Content Manager, under .
| Default setting | Description |

| Default language | Defines the default system-wide language option. For example: en-us. When you change the system default value, the user selection becomes the default language setting for the active user. |
| Default resolution | Defines the default resolution for images. For example: Low. |
| Quality Assistant URI | The uniform resource identifier (URI) of the Quality Assistant instance that is used to manage your content quality rules. This is required only for SDL Knowledge Center integration.
