Content Manager for the documentation Manager
The documentation Manager needs to administer user accounts, user groups, and the list of values (LOV) from the Content Manager web client interface.
- The repository
You use folders to create a hierarchy, organize, and store content in the Content Manager repository. - Importing content
Using the Content Manager web interface, you can use the batch import tool to upload files into the repository. - Adding templates to the repository
You can add map, topic, graphic, or publication templates to your repository and make them available to users when creating new objects. - The Workflow
The workflow is one of the basic concepts ruling the use of Knowledge Center. It can be used in its simple version provided with the tool or it can be extended. Usage and customization benefit from a good comprehension of the principles, a careful design and a precise knowledge of the implementation. - Users
To allow users to access Content Manager you must provide login access and permissions to use the application. - Defining Output Formats
Define the output formats needed for publishing. This task requires a user with an administrative role. It also assumes that the style sheets for that output format are in place. After defining the output formats, the end user can add them to a publication using Publication Manager. - Administering a list of values
You can add a value to the lists of values that are displayed in the Content Manager GUI. For example, you might want to add a company-specific publication type or image type. - Configuring translation management
Configuring Trisoft's translation management includes defining metadata that is applied when auto-generating targeted languages, defining source and pivot languages, and defining elements used when pre-translating content. - Configuring default settings
You can define system-wide default settings for language and image resolution.
