Define the output formats needed for publishing. This task requires a user with an administrative role. It also assumes that the style sheets for that output format are in place. After defining the output formats, the end user can add them to a publication using Publication Manager.
Procedure
- In Content Manager web client, select the .
A list of available output formats is displayed.
- Click Add.
The Add Output Format dialog is displayed.
- Add data to the fields as described in the right column of the interface.
- Fields with an asterisk are mandatory and must contain data.
- When defining the Resolutions, list them in the order of how they are to be looked up and used when publishing.
- You can define the resolution order for each type of output (for example, CHM, PDF, Content Delivery)
- Click the OK button to add the new output format to the list of available output formats.
This list populates the list of output formats that are available to assign to a publication.
