Modifying a Translation Job

This procedure can be used to add, delete or change the metadata of an existing Translation Job.

About this task

Translation Jobs that have a status of Definition can be modified. If adding items, this procedure can be used to add the latest version of an object to the existing translation job.

Procedure

  1. In the Content Manager web client, select the Repository tab.
  2. Click Translation Jobs in the left pane.
    A list of jobs and their status is displayed in the right pane.
  3. Select the Translation Job in the right pane that you want to modify.
  4. Click Properties on the menu bar in the right pane.
  5. Make the necessary modifications; you can change the definitions for the job under the General tab, and add or delete items from the job under the Added Items tab.
    • To add an item, click Add, select the item from the resulting repository view, then click OK.
    • To delete an item, select the item, then click Delete.
  6. Click OK to save changes.
