You search for objects in the repository by typing one or more search terms (the words or phrase that best describe the information you want to find) into a search box then by clicking the Search button. The search mechanism searches both object-level metadata and full-text.
Procedure
- Perform one of the following actions:

The Browse Repository window is displayed.
- Click the Search tab.
- In the Find what field, enter your search criteria.
- Optionally, click the + next to Search Options and/or Advanced Options to access options where you can limit the search to a more narrow field of search criteria.
- In the Advanced Options area type, or use the drop down menus to enter the desired search criteria.
- Click Search.
A result list appears.
- The list contains results from all versions of the objects.
- The default list is sorted by relevance.
- You can click on a column header in the list to sort on a that column.
- Optionally, to conduct a new search, use the Clear button to clear data from all fields and specify new search criteria.
