Using Content Delivery-Administered Users and Groups
These topics describe how to use the default Content Delivery user authentication model.
- Group Permissions
Group permissions control access to various parts of the Content Delivery user interface and functionality, as well as granting or revoking permissions on a group to fine-tune the level of user access. - Creating Groups
In Content Delivery a user with Manage app permission can grant permission to the groups, and then assign users to the group to control which permissions users have. You do not grant permissions to an individual user. - Creating Users
Use this procedure to create users and assign them to groups. Permissions are assigned to groups, and not to each individual user. - Changing Group Permissions
This procedure covers how to change group permissions. Some permissions are dependent on others being granted to a group. - Changing a Password
This procedure shows how to change a password for a user through the Manage Application interface. - Changing a User Profile and Preferences
By default, a user can change his or her own profile information (such as name and telephone number) and preferences (such as the default language in which they view the UI). This procedure describes how a user who belongs to a group with the Manage Users permission (such as admin) can change any user's profile and preferences.
