This procedure covers how to change group permissions. Some permissions are dependent on others being granted to a group.
About this task
CAUTION:
Changes made to permissions immediately affect a user. The next action he or she takes in the UI has the new permissions applied.
Procedure
- If you are in a SDL LiveContent Reach tool, click Home in the breadcrumb trail.
The Review and Collaboration landing page appears.
- In the Administration Tools pane, click Manage Application.
The Manage Application page appears.
- In the left pane, click Manage Groups.
- Click the tab that contains the permission you want to grant or revoke.
You need to locate the group name row. As you move from tab to tab, the group name will remain visible on the left.
- Under the permission you want to change, click the icon.
A green checkmark icon in the column indicates that the group is granted that permission. A red x icon indicates that the group does not have that permission.
- Click Save.
