Configuring default settings

System-wide default settings can be defined for language, image resolution, maps, and out-of-date status.

System-wide default settings can be overruled by user defaults.

  • Login to the SDL LiveContent Architect web client as a user with administrator permissions.
  • Click Settings > Default Settings to access the Default Settings window.
Default SettingDescription
Default languageIndicates the language that is taken as a default.

This language is overruled by the default language set for a user.

Default resolutionIndicate the default resolution for images.
Enable Out of dateOption defines the status indication of older versions.
  • When the option is disabled, older version keep their Released status when a newer version is released.
  • When Out of Date is enabled, older versions are marked out of date when a newer version is released.
SDL LiveContent Reach uriThe uniform resource identifier (uri) for the SDL LiveContent Reach instance that is used for commenting and editing. This is only required for SDL LiveContent integration.
SDL Enrich uriThe uniform resource identifier (uri) for the SDL Enrich instance that is used for managing your Content Quality rules. This is only required for SDL LiveContent integration.
