Configuring Engines

Many engine types, such as Terminology Checker, require configuration. This topic describes how to configure an engine.

Before you begin

To carry out the steps described here you need:

  • to have access as an administrator to the System Settings page
  • to know the homepage for your SDL Enrich system
  • know the configuration details of the engine you wish to add

Procedure

  1. To configure an engine, double-click on the engine, or select the engine and click the Edit Engine button. The Engine Details pop-up window appears. The content of this window depends on the engine type.

What to do next

You should test you system configuration, by checking the results you and your users obtain from a Quality Check, to see if you obtain results you expect from the engine you just added and configured.
