New User Interface
SDL LiveContent Reach has adopted a new user interface, which is now common to all SDL software applications. This brings a modern, engaging, functional, and unified theme (colors, fonts, layout, user interface controls) to your total SDL customer experience.
What's Changed?
This section lists the visual changes to the user interface. In the subsequent sections, we explain how to navigate the new user interface.
- The Dashboard is now referred to as the Review and Collaboration landing page.
- The Frame Navigator has been discontinued. The breadcrumb trail now plays a more prominent role in navigation.
- The new Administration Tools pane on the Review and Collaboration landing page provides access to Analytics, Comments (tabular view), Manage Application, and Developer's Workbench tools.
- Manage Comments (tabular view) is now referred to as Comments.
- You can no longer access SDL LiveContent Architect from SDL LiveContent Reach. The converse is true, however.
- Advanced Search is now accessible (adjacent to the Search type-in field) directly from the Review and Collaboration landing page.
- The "Learn About LiveContent" movie has been discontinued.
- Menus, subheaders, and buttons have been relocated on the Topic page to provide an unobstructed view of the topic's content.
Navigation in SDL LiveContent Reach
When you log in to SDL LiveContent Reach, you are presented with the Review and Collaboration landing page. The Frame Navigator has been replaced with a combination of the Administration Tools pane, located at the left, below My Recent Topics, and the breadcrumb trail, located below the header.
Administration Tools lets you access pages other than the landing page. The pages available to you are governed by licensing and permissions.
From an open Administration Tools page, click Home in the breadcrumb trail to return to the Review and Collaboration landing page.
