Adding a topic template
You can add a topic template to the SDL LiveContent Architect repository for users to apply when creating topics.
Before you begin
- You must be a member of the system administration user group.
- You must have permission to edit and store objects in the SDL LiveContent Architect repository.
Procedure
- Login to the SDL LiveContent Architect web client.
- To add a value to the LOV:
- Create the topic template:
- In the SDL LiveContent Architect web, select the Repository tab.
- Open then select Topics.
- Click the New Object icon in the top right pane.
- Enter the the name of the template in the Title field and select Topic from the list in the Content Type field.
- Click Next.
- Click Next in the Add Topic Document Version window.
- Click Browse next to the File field in the Add Topic Document Language window.
- Select the template file to add.
- Release the template so users can select it.
- In the SDL LiveContent Architect web, select the Repository tab.
- Open then select Topic .
- Select the template you added in the upper right pane.
- Select the language in the bottom right pane.
- Click Properties from the menu on the bottom right.
- In the Topic Document Language Properties window, select Released from the Status list.
- Click Modify.
