Obtaining the SSL certificate thumbprint from SDL LiveContent Architect InfoShareSTS

This task describes the steps to follow if you want to obtain the SSL certificate thumbprint from SDL LiveContent Architect InfoShareSTS.

Procedure

  1. Determine the name of the valid SSL certificate used on your SDL LiveContent Architect system.
    1. Go to Trisoft STS > Administration > Service Certificates.
    2. Find out the name of the Current SSL Certificate.
  2. View and record the thumbprint for this certificate in one of many ways:
    • Use the IIS Manager tool on the SDL LiveContent Architect server.
    • Browse to the SDL LiveContent Architect web site and view the certificate details from the browser.
    • Use the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) on the STS machine directly.
You need to know the thumbprint as one of the installer parameters you need to enter when you run the SDL Enrich installer. An example of a thumbprint is 57 30 d7 cd 5d 40 03 c 46 81 20 59 0d d5 c3 3c 3e 7f 4e.
