Enabling Search Filtering

By default, when a user performs a search, the results are not filtered based on the language and personalization specified. You may opt to enable filtered results to provide a more customized experience for the publication readers. However, enabling this option increases the time it takes to return results to the user, as each individual result has to be checked to see if it applies when the filtering conditions are taken into account.

Procedure

  1. If you are in a SDL LiveContent Reach tool, click Home in the breadcrumb trail.
    The Review and Collaboration landing page appears.
  2. In the Administration Tools pane, click Manage Application.
    The Manage Application page appears.
  3. In the left pane, click Global Config.
  4. In the search.filter.enable drop-down list, click Yes.
  5. Click Save.
