Resuming a suspended LiveContent S1000D session

The Resume command lets you resume a suspended LiveContent S1000D session.

About this task

The Resume button in the Suspend and Resume panel lets you select a previously suspended session, retrieve it, and reload it. The session remains in the list in the Supend and Resume panel. If you suspend the session again without renaming it, another suspended session is created with the same name but a unique time-stamp. Information about restored sessions is saved in the audit trail.

Resuming a suspended session results in the following actions:

  • Applicability settings in place when the session was suspended are restored.
  • The Data Module associated with the selected saved session is loaded into the viewer. If it contains figures, the figure that was displayed when the session was suspended is loaded into the graphics panel of the viewer.
  • The last step selected is highlighted in the viewer.
  • The location of the yellow arrow (if active) is restored.
  • The TOC is synchronized to the current data module.
