You can configure a common watermark image to be used in all publications, or a publication-specific watermark image. The image must be in PNG format. It will appear on all PDF pages, except pages that contain only graphics or figures.
Procedure
- Select a PNG image to use as your watermark and save it in the httpdocs/images folder.
- Navigate to your collection directory.
- To use the watermark as a common watermark, to be used in all publications, do the following:
- Open wietmsd_prg.xml for editing.
- Add the following in the
pdf section:

images/watermark.png
</configitem>
where watermark.png is the name of your watermark image.
- Save and close wietmsd_prg.xml.
- Alternatively, to use the watermark as a publication-specific watermark, do the following:
- Open wietmsd.xml for editing.
- Add the following in the book section for a book:
<configitem name="COLLECTION.PUBLICATION.watermark">
images/watermark.png
</configitem>
where
- COLLECTION is the name of the collection that contains your publication
- PUBLICATION is the name of the publication for which you want to specify a watermark
- watermark.png is the name of your watermark image
- Save and close wietmsd.xml.
