For Translators and Reviewers, publishing to GroupShare means sending the task file(s) to a GroupShare server for translation and review.
About this task
Note: If you perform any modification in the Translation Interface (TI), you must trigger a Preview from the TI before publishing the same task to GroupShare. If not, the modification will not be updated in the file published to GroupShare.
In your GroupShare Inbox, select the checkbox next to the task(s) that you want to send to GroupShare.
Click the Publish to GS button. The Publish to GroupShare screen is displayed.
In the Publish to GroupShare screen, make sure to select the GroupShare server location and then click Publish. The status changes to Publishing.
Note: You can select the Set as default location box so that TMS remembers your preferred location. The next time you publish, this location will be the one proposed by default.
After the Project has been published to GroupShare, select the task sent for publication and click GS Task Status. The task changes to Published when the Project is published on the GroupShare server.
In SDL Trados Studio, open the GroupShare project and check-out the files to translate or review.
Note: In SDL GroupShare, the Created At value refers to the date and time when the Project has been published from TMS to GroupShare. This value is not the same as the Creation Date in TMS's Job Summary page.
You can then request the status of the task(s) sent to GroupShare for translation/review and retrieve the task(s) once translated/reviewed. For more information, read further in this document.
