Known issues
This topic describes issues that are known to exist in SDL TMS 11.3.
The following issues have been identified related to the Commute plug-in:
- To maintain performance, there is a limit of 3,500 tasks and a maximum of 250 tasks in a job. These values can be adjusted by contacting SDL TMS Support. Even with these limitations, the display of the inbox can be slow for large numbers of tasks.
- For a Studio package that contains a link to a terminology sequence, if the package is downloaded and uploaded immediately, without opening it in the Editor and therefore providing the SDL MultiTerm credentials, a warning will be displayed. The message can be ignored by clicking the Finish button to complete the task upload.
- At the moment, the SDL TMS Inbox screen doesn't support batch operations. You need to select a task to perform operations like Take Ownership, Reassign, Download, Upload, Reject or Submit and then repeat the process for each task individually.
- An intermittent behavior has been observed on task download or submit where the authentication token sometimes expires. The user would see an "Invalid token" message displayed. To workaround this issue, you can either switch to another server configured in the server management area and back to the server's inbox, where you had the issue. If you do not have more than one server configured, close SDL Trados Studio and then start it again.
Related to the new inbox, the following known issues will be addressed in a future release:
- In columns that display a date and time, the time may be offset if the user and the server are not in the same time zone.
- When impersonating a user that has the Technical Preview option enabled, the inbox may look empty. Click the Refresh button to load the inbox correctly.
- After saving a filter, if a user changes the layout and clicks the Save Layout button again, the second layout will not be saved. The first layout will be used instead. The workaround is to make a change in the Table Personalization window and then click Apply. Consequently, saving layouts will no longer be a problem. The user can then reverse the change in the Table Personalization window, if needed.
