Reviewing completed translations
- Opening a task for review
You open tasks for review from your inbox. In the Inbox View (Tasks), the word Review appears in the Workflow Step column of tasks that have been sent to you for review. - Editing a task
You have the same editing ability as a translator. This means that everything a translator can do to edit a translation, you can do too (see Translating in SDL TMS). - Approving a task
To approve a task you submit it to the next step. You can submit from your inbox (see Taking ownership of tasks assigned to Groups) or from the Translation interface in SDL TMS. To submit from the Translation interface, click Submit. - Filling in the Reviewer Grading window
If your company is capturing feedback on the quality of translations, the Reviewer Grading window is where the feedback is recorded. This window is available for every segment in a task. - Rejecting tasks
You can reject tasks either from the Translation Interface or from your Inbox.
