Searching for jobs and tasks

You can search for jobs and tasks in the navigation tree.

About this task

In the navigation pane, click the Search navigation button. The Main Search window is displayed in the navigation pane.

Procedure

  1. You can search for a JobID number or TaskID number in the Go To section:
    1. Select the type of item.
    2. Enter the ID number.
    3. Click on Search.
  2. You can run an advanced search:
    1. In the Look in box, select the organization whose jobs you want to search.
    2. In the For a box, select what you are searching for.
    3. Select how you want to search using the Which box.
    4. In the The word or phrase box, enter the value that will identify the job or task. For example, enter the job ID or part of the job name.
    5. If you want archived jobs to be included in the search, click the icon preceding More Options and select Archived Yes.
    6. If you only want to find jobs or tasks created in a specific time period, click the icon preceding Date, select Created Date and specify the date range.
    7. Click the Search button on the Main Search window. All jobs or tasks found to match your search criteria are listed in the Jobs screen or the Tasks screen, where you can select them.
