Adding exceptions to automatic capitalization

While automatic capitalization can greatly improve typing productivity, you may want to customize how automatic capitalization works.

Procedure

  1. Access the settings for autocorrection by selecting File > Options and going to Editor > AutoCorrect.
  2. Click the Exceptions button.
  3. On the INitial CAps tab, add exceptions for correcting initial letter capitalization.
  4. On the First Letter tab, add exceptions for capitalizing the first letter after a full stop.
  5. On the Other Corrections tab, add exceptions for any other situation.
  6. Click OK to save your settings.
