Batch Edit Wizard > Batch Edit Script
Use the Batch Edit Script page of the Batch Edit wizard to specify which translation units should be updated and how they should be updated. You can specify the settings from scratch or you can load them from a previously saved batch edit script. You can also save the current script to a file.
To display this page, make the translation memory for which you want to batch edit translation units the active translation memory in the Translation Memories view and select from the menu bar.
| Settings | Description |
|---|---|
| Filter | Select the filter that identifies the set of translation units you want to edit. If you do not select a filter, the edit script will be applied to every translation unit in the translation memory. |
| Continuation | You can choose to apply all of the edit actions in the script to every matching translation unit. Or, you can specify that after one update has been made, no further edits should be made to the same translation unit. Choose the option that describes what you want to happen:
|
| Actions | This box lists the edit actions to be applied to translation units. Actions are applied, to translation units, in the order in which they appear in the list.
|
| Load | Click this to load an edit script that you previously created and saved to a file. When you click Load, the Open TM Batch Edit Script dialog box is displayed. Browse to the file, select it and click Open. The edit script stored in the file is loaded into the Batch Edit Script page. |
| Save | Click this button to save this batch edit script to a file. |
Click Finish to start the batch edit and display the Applying Batch Edit Script page. The Applying Batch Edit Script page displays the progress of the batch edit and the results of the edit.
