Customizing the AutoCorrect replacement list

There are several use cases where the AutoCorrect feature can improve typing productivity:

About this task

  • AutoCorrect replaces typos and misspelled words with the correct form from a default or a custom list of terms.
  • You can set up shortcuts in the replacement list for your own convenience. For example, you can set to replace typing "tm" with "translation memory".
  • The use of AutoCorrect makes inserting of symbols faster. For example, type (c) to insert ©.

To access settings for autocorrection, select File > Options and find them under Editor > AutoCorrect.
