The Home tab contains the most frequently used commands for working with translation memories in SDL Trados Studio.

Upgrade Translation Memories | Click this to upgrade your SDL Trados 2007 and SDLX translation memories, so that they can be used in Studio. The Upgrade Translation Memories wizard is displayed. | Translation Memory | |
Align Documents | Click this to pair one source document to its corresponding target document and generate one single alignment result (*.sdlalign) file. | ||
Click this to align several pairs of files at the same time. This generates an alignment result ( Studio sends the translation units that result from all the generated alignment result files to the same translation memory. | |||

Create AutoSuggest Dictionary | Select this to create an AutoSuggest dictionary. | ||

Terminology Management | Terminology Management Click this to open SDL MultiTerm (Desktop). MultiTerm is the main client component of MultiTerm (Desktop)Desktop. It enables you to manage termbases and termbase content. For more information, see the SDL MultiTerm Help. | ||
Software Localization | Click this to open SDL Passolo where you can create new or work with existing localization projects. Passolo is a localization tool for text resource translation and software localization. Text resources are the text components of a software that are displayed on screen. The Essential version of Passolo, included as a separate download when you purchase Studio, includes all the functions you need to localize software. However, it has some restrictions compared to the Passolo Professional and Passolo Team editions. For more information, see the SDL Passolo Essential documentation. | ||
