How to specify translation results window settings
This topic describes how to specify Translation Results window settings. There are a number of options for controlling how lookup results are displayed in the Translation Results window. You can choose to:
About this task
- Show/hide the translation document segment for which lookup results are being displayed. The segment is displayed in the first row of the window.
- Show/hide field values associated with the retrieved translation.
Translation Results Window display options are located under in the Options dialog box.
Field Values
About this task
Field values are values that are stored with a new translation when the translation is added to a translation memory. Some field values contain default information such as the date the translation was added and the name of the person who added it. Default field values are always displayed in the bottom bar of the window.
Other field values are ones that you or your organization have defined. A project code or cost code for example. If you choose to display these, they appear in an extra column that is added to the window.
