Language pair settings
- About Language Pair settings
A language pair is used to store settings relating to translation from a specific source language into a specific target language. Resources and options are typically configured for use across all language pairs to which they apply. Multilingual resources, such as termbases and server-based translation memories, may apply to more than one language pair. Bilingual resources, such as file-based translation memories, only apply to a specific language pair. - Language pairs
Use the Language Pair settings to specify the language pairs for which you can define translation memory, batch processing, termbase and AutoSuggest dictionary settings. - All Language pairs
Use the All Language Pair settings to specify translation memory and batch processing settings for all languages. - Language pairs > [Source language name - Target language name]
Use the [Source Language Name - Target Language Name] settings to specify translation memory, batch processing and AutoSuggest dictionary settings for a specific language pair. You only need to specify these settings at an individual language pair level if you want to use different settings for that individual language pair.
