Managing project files
The Files view is where you view and manage project files for a selected project.
- Adding files to an existing project
You can add files to an existing project in the Files view. You can add them individually, or you can add a folder structure. If your files are not for translation but you want to manage them together with the translatable files, you can then change their usage. If you added the files to a SDL Studio GroupShare project, you must also upload them to the GroupShare Project Server by checking them in. - Removing a file
In the right hand pane, right-click the file and select Remove from the shortcut menu. - Tracking file confirmation level
The confirmation level indicates the status of the segment within the translation process. - Tracking file status
The file status is based on the translation status of each segment in the file. At key points throughout the translation project, statistics about the status of each segment is stored in the project file in order to give a quick overview of the state of one or more files and the progress of the project as a whole. This can be viewed from the Projects and Files view. These calculations occur: - Deleting project files
