Options dialog box > Colors
Use the Colors settings to customize SDL Trados Studio views by specifying the colors that are used in the views. For example, if you have a Microsoft color scheme you want to replicate in Studio, you can select the Microsoft colors and apply them to Studio screen components.
To display the Colors settings, select from the menu bar and then select Colors from the navigation tree in the Options dialog box.
For every screen element listed below, there are three color choice tabs: Custom, Web and System. Click the down arrow next to each option to display the tabs.
- Click the Custom tab to display a color palette. Click a color in the palette and the color is applied to the currently selected screen component. If the color you want to use is not displayed here, right-click on one of the blank, colorless squares at the bottom of the tab to display the Color dialog box where you can create your own custom color.
- Click the Web tab to display a list of colors which can be used in web pages. Select a color and the color is applied to the currently selected screen component.
- Click the System tab to display a list of Microsoft screen components and colors assigned to the components. Select a color/component combination and the color is applied to the currently selected Studio screen component.
Click the down arrow beside a screen component and select the required color from one of the tabs. Changes are effective immediately. You can click Reset to Defaults at any time to restore the system default colors.
