Project view screen layout and functionality

The Projects view contains the following components:

Procedure

  1. Ribbon tabs which contain SDL Trados Studio commands organized into groups.
  2. Ribbon tabs and groups which contain all the commands that you need to start working with projects in Studio.
  3. The Project view layout which shows the projects opened in Studio considering the filter criteria selected in the navigation pane. You can control the screen layout to change the order in which Studio displays the open projects by moving, adding and removing columns or by sorting and grouping data. For more information, see Displaying and managing Layouts.
  4. A set of tabbed windows that appear at the bottom of the screen. These include a Project Details, Confirmation Statistics, Analysis Statistics, Task History and a Project Attributes window.
  5. The View navigation buttons from where you can switch to other view and access Studio functionality related to that view.
  6. Navigation pane, from where you can filter the what projects are displayed in the Projects view layout.

You have many options for personalizing the Projects view. For example, you can resize, rearrange and hide the windows to suit the way you work.
