QA Checker 3.0
- QA Checker 3.0
Use the QA Checker 3.0 settings to specify which checks are run as part of the QA Checker verification. The QA Checker allows you to carry out checks on the document you are currently working on using a number of verification criteria, such as length checks, punctuation checks, and so on. - QA Checker > Segments verification
Use the QA Checker 3.0 > Segments Verification settings to specify which checks are run as part of the QA Checker verification. - QA Checker > Segments to exclude
Use the QA Checker 3.0 > Segments to Exclude settings to specify which segments will not have any QA Checker verifications performed on them. This allows you to skip segments with a certain match type from verification, for example, you can choose to exclude all exact or fuzzy matches from the process or you can exclude translations that have already been confirmed. This means that these segments will not have any QA Checks performed on them. - QA Checker > Inconsistencies
Use the QA Checker 3.0 > Inconsistencies settings to specify what checks are run as part of the QA Checker verification. This option allows you to check for inconsistent translations and repeated words. - QA Checker > Punctuation
Use the QA Checker 3.0 > Punctuation settings to specify what punctuation checks are run as part of the QA Checker verification. - QA Checker > Numbers
Use the QA Checker 3.0 > Numbers settings to specify if numbers, dates and times should be checked to see if they were converted correctly to the target language. - QA Checker > Word list
Use the QA Checker 3.0 > Word List settings to specify word list checks. The word list check is a simple term verifier. It checks for words that must not be used or that are incorrectly formatted. Instead of using a termbase, the user can enter a list of incorrect and correct word forms. For example, if the document is not supposed to contain Website, and web site is the correct form, the user can enter the word pair via the respective text fields. - QA Checker > Regular expressions
Use the QA Checker 3.0 > Regular Expressions settings to specify regular expressions to use in order to find particular string patterns in the document. All regular expressions in the list are applied to the translation document. Create the expression and then add them to the list. - QA Checker > Trademark check
Use the QA Checker 3.0 > Trademark Check settings to specify trademark and copyright characters that you want to check are correctly transferred from the source segments to the target segments. - QA Checker > Length verification
Use the QA Checker 3.0 > Length Verification settings to specify checks where the target segment text exceeds the permitted number of characters. - QA Checker > QA Checker profiles
Use the QA Checker 3.0 > QA Checker Profiles settings to save, switch and share QA Checker profiles. The profile contains the settings specified on all of the pages in the QA Checker 3.0 settings. Profiles are saved to a Settings XML (*.sdlqasettings) file.
