SDL customer experience improvement program

Starting with SDL Trados Studio 2014 SP1, you can choose to join the SDL Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP) to help design better future versions of Studio.

What information is collected?

If you choose to join CEIP, the program only collects anonymous Studio usage data. SDL uses this data to find out if Studio is used at its full potential and to better understand how to improve Studio features.

CEIP program is safe, secure, and completely anonymous. SDL protects your privacy and your translation data, and:

  • does NOT record or send any personal information that you add in Studio.
  • does NOT record or send any text, translation memories or termbases that you process in Studio.

For more information about how SDL treats your information when you use SDL products.

How CEIP works

If you join, CEIP runs in the background and does not affect Studio performance. Studio will not prompt you with any additional messages regarding this program, regardless of whether you participate. As CEIP does not collect any personal identifiable information, SDL will not contact you for any marketing or sale purposes.

CEIP is not spyware and cannot collect information without your full knowledge or consent. The program takes only those actions described on this page, and only if you give your permission.

Start/Stop Participating

You can choose to start or stop participating in the CEIP at any time, from the new Customer Feedback option in the Studio Help tab, or from the Studio Setup Wizard.
