Adding exceptions to automatic capitalization

While automatic capitalization can greatly improve typing productivity, you may want to customize how automatic capitalization works.

Procedure

  1. Go to File > Options.
  2. In the Options dialog, in the navigation tree, select Editor > AutoCorrect.
  3. Select Exceptions.
  4. On the INitial CAps tab, add exceptions for correcting initial letter capitalization.
  5. On the First Letter tab, add exceptions for capitalizing the first letter after a full stop.
  6. On the Other Corrections tab, add exceptions for any other situation.
  7. Select OK to save your settings.
