Creating project packages

Project packages enable you to send project files and associated data to project team members in one simple file.

To create project packages, you simply need to go through the steps of the Create Project Package wizard. The wizard enables you to:
  • Select the files you want to include in the package
  • Specify any files to be included as reference
  • Add the original source files as reference
  • Specify translation resources for package users: translation memories, termbases, AutoSuggest dictionaries
  • Specify a location for your project package
  • Organize the files into one package or split them across several packages
  • Assign the package to users by specifying the manual task that needs to be completed
  • Specify the date and time by which the task must be completed
  • Send the project package by email
