Generating verification results with batch tasks

Verification results consist of errors and inconsistencies in translated or reviewed work. You can generate verification results at once with the help of batch tasks.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Editor view.
  2. On the Ribbon, select Review tab > Quality Assurance group > Verify.
The Batch Processing wizard is displayed on the Batch Tasks page.
  3. On the Batch Tasks page, in the Batch Processing wizard, selectNext.
  4. Run the Verify Files task. On the Files page, consult all the files for the active project.
  5. Review the list of files that will be processed by the selected batch task or task sequence. You cannot add or remove files here. If the files list is not correct, close the Batch Processing wizard and select the required files in the Files view before starting the wizard again.
  6. Select Next.
  7. On the Settings page, in the navigation tree, select Language Pairs > All Language Pairs > Batch Processing > Verify Files.
  8. Specify the Verify Files settings. Choose if you want the report to include any verification messages that the were chosen to be ignored from the Verifier window.
You might want to include these ignored messages in the report so that you or someone else can double-check that these verification errors do not need to be fixed and were correctly chosen to be ignored.
  9. To modify any of the verification checks that will be run, select Verification from the navigation tree and make the appropriated changes.
  10. Select Finish to verify the files.
  11. On the Performing tasks page, check the progress of the verification.
  12. When the verification is complete, click Task Results to see the any error messages and reports produced from the verification.
  13. When finished, select Close.
