Identifying embedded content

SDL Trados Studio differentiates between main XML content and embedded sub-content based on the identification settings that you define for the different processors you use.

Procedure

  1. Define the main XML content for a file type.
    1. Decide for which projects you want to define the XML content:
      • For the active project, go to the Projects view, and on the Home tab, select Project Settings.
      • For all future projects, go to File > Options.
    2. Expand the File Types list.
    3. Select your custom XML file types and open the Parser page to enter the rules for identifying XML content.
    4. Select OK.
  2. Define the embedded content.
