Reusing existing SDL BeGlobal connection settings
You can save connection details for an SDL BeGlobal Machine Translation (MT) provider, so that you can select the provider in another project without having to reenter the details.
Procedure
- Add and save an SDL BeGlobal connection:
- Decide whether you want to add the SDL BeGlobal connection:
- For all future projects - Go to File > Options > Language Pairs > All Language Pairs/ [source language - target language] pair.
- For the current project - Go to the Projects view, select a project. On the Home tab, select Project Settings, and then in the Project Settings dialog, select Language Pairs > All Language Pairs / [source language - target language] pair.
- Go to All Language Pairs / [source language - target language] > Translation Memory and Automated Translation.
The settings you specify on at individual language pair level, override the settings specified at All Language Pairs level. You typically edit SDL BeGlobal connection settings at All Language Pairs level. Edit SDL BeGlobal connection settings at individual language pair level only as an exception.
- Select Add, and then select SDL BeGlobal from the drop-down list.
- In the Add SDL BeGlobal Automated Translation wizard, follow the on-screen instructions to add the connection.
- On the Save Connection Details page of the wizard, select the Save Connection details checkbox to save the connection details from the previous pages of the wizard.
- In the Connection Name box, enter the name under which you want to save the connection details.
- Select Finish to add the connection.
Note: You can also select an existing name. This overwrites the current details saved under that name with the details you entered in the Add/Edit Connection to SDL BeGlobal Automated Translation wizard.
