Show/hide whitespace characters in the translation memories view

By default, whitespace characters appear as blank spaces in your translation memory (TM) text. You can show or hide the display of whitespace character in the TM side-by-side editor window of the Translation Memories view. You can also display whitespace characters as symbols, if needed.

Procedure

  1. Select File > Options. The Options dialog box is displayed.
  2. Select Translation Memories View from the navigation tree. The Translation Memories View settings are displayed on the right.
  3. Select if you want to show to hide the whitespace characters:
    • If you want to display whitespace characters as symbols, select the Show whitespace characters check box.
    • If you want to stop displaying whitespace characters, clear the selection from the Show whitespace characters check box.
  4. Click OK to save the settings and close the Options dialog box.
